3. Weeks per year the task runs. Most repetitive business tasks run close to 52.

An example

Say you spend one hour a day processing incoming emails into tasks. At $25 an hour and 5 working days a week, that is:

• 1 hour/day x 5 days x 52 weeks = 260 hours a year
• 260 hours x $25/hour = $6,500 a year

That is the cost of doing nothing. It is not a hypothetical. It is money that leaves your business every single year whether you notice it or not.

Why this number changes the decision
